Michelin is continuing to profile the work of some of the leading contenders for its annual Michelin Challenge Design competition, which asks the design community to come up with proposals for "America's Next Iconic Vehicle". All 11 of the scale models and 24 two-dimensional drawings in the running will be exhibited at the 2009 NAIAS in January. Earlier this month, we featured three of these scale models following their selection by a jury of top automotive designers.
THE HAY FEVER SEASON could bring danger to drivers from drugs, according to a survey. As many as 44% of motorists who use hay fever medication admitted to sometimes not, or never, checking the instructions to see if their driving ability is affected, the poll by road safety charity Brake and insurance company Direct Line found. And 17% of the 1,000 drivers questioned said they either ignored warnings not to drive while on medication or did not check the labels at all.

The Honda Civic Type R hot hatch will finally make its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2014 as a "Concept", and this is the first official picture. Yes, sadly, it’s still just a design sketch at this stage. But come the beginning of March we will at last be given some idea what the new Type R will actually look like when it eventually goes on sale in 2015.
